Introduction

itris makes it simple to amplify your job advertisements beyond traditional job boards by posting directly to social media. Within each job record on the Jobs Posting tab, you’ll find two social media posting options - Facebook and LinkedIn - allowing you to reach candidates where they’re already spending their time.

Both posting options automatically include a link that directs interested candidates to your Jobs Lite site, creating a seamless path from social discovery to application. This means you can share your opportunities knowing that candidates will land on a professional, branded page where they can learn more and apply.

Posting to Facebook

When you’re ready to share a vacancy on Facebook, click the Facebook button within your job record. A popup window will appear where you can customize your post details before sharing.

Here’s how it works:

  • Fill in the relevant information in the popup and click Preview to see how your post will look
  • Log into Facebook with the account you want to use for posting (if you’re not already signed in on another browser tab)
  • Add any additional details or messaging you’d like to include
  • Click Share to Post when you’re happy with everything

Your published post will automatically include the link to your Jobs Lite site, making it easy for interested applicants to find out more and apply.

Posting to LinkedIn

The LinkedIn option works a bit differently - when you click the LinkedIn icon, your job will post to your personal newsfeed rather than being listed as a formal LinkedIn job posting. This is perfect for leveraging your professional network and encouraging shares.

Setting Up LinkedIn Integration

Before you can post to LinkedIn, you’ll need to connect your LinkedIn account through itris:

  1. Navigate to My Settings
  2. Toggle on the LinkedIn social media button
  3. Click “Yes” when prompted to confirm you agree to the connection
  4. Click “Sign in” to complete the authentication process

Once you’ve connected your account, you’ll be all set to share jobs to LinkedIn directly from any job record in itris.
